Philanthropic giving

Here at Cystic Fibrosis Community Care we provide support programs and services that help to enhance the quality of life and meet the needs of people living with CF.

Our key areas of focus are promoting and facilitating research into improved treatments and therapies for people with this genetic condition, delivering information and education services to key stakeholders, and advocating on behalf of individuals and groups on issues that require government or institutional action.

The simple fact is – we cannot do this alone. We rely on generous support from individuals, families, charitable trusts and foundations that share our vision of - lives unaffected by cystic fibrosis. Philanthropy and major giving form an important part of our organisation wide fundraising efforts.

The following information provides more insight for you.

What is a Major Gift?

A major gift is a significant financial donation made by individuals, charitable trusts, foundations or Private Ancillary Funds (PAFs). It is an investment in our work – an investment that has significant impact for the programs and support services provided by Cystic Fibrosis Community Care. Major gifts have the ability to increase the well-being and quality of life of people living with cystic fibrosis. Major gifts enable us to plan ahead, scale existing programs and respond CF health emergencies.

Your support can help Cystic Fibrosis Community Care fund research projects for improved treatments, provide education services to key stakeholders such as schools and teachers, develop and introduce new telehealth services and provide life giving equipment to people living with CF.

There are a range of projects and programs you can choose to support. To discuss the opportunities available, please contact Head of Marketing and Fundraising  by emailing marketing@cfcc.org.au or telephone 03 9686 1811.
